On the surface, Daniel Zarvos’ work may seem playful, almost as if the artist were a joker. His envelopes, watercolors and photographs often reflect his day-to-day encounters. A poetic irony is found in Zarvos. Light love, pain, sex – explicit or hidden, are some of the elements that illustrate his works. His aesthetic sense ‘freezes a time-space and abducts the spectator’s gaze’.
