At first glance, Ana Holck’s sculptural work has strong architectural undertones; she creates structures and takes over spaces. In her site-specific installations and sculptures she often chooses to work with malleable material, such as vinyl tape or film. Recently she has chosen to experiment with concrete and acrylic. Independent of the chosen material or medium, her work is not rigid. Holck wraps, pulls, but fundamentally she transforms.
